We are committed to providing all individuals involved with the lisaarafune.com community including, but not limited to, clients, attendees, sponsors, speakers, organizers, staff, and venue staff, involved in lisaarafune.com supported activities (“Participants”) a professional, safe, and welcoming environment free from discrimination and harassment regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, and religion. This Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy (“Policy”) outlines expectations for Participant behavior as well as consequences for unacceptable behavior.
Scope
We expect all Participants to abide by this Policy at all times at lisaarafune.com meetings and events, related social events, the lisaarafune.com online community, and any remote activities sponsored or supported by lisaarafune.com including telephonic and electronic communications among Participants. Please engage in lisaarafune.com activities responsibly and with respect for the right of others to do likewise. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment.
Expected Behavior
All Participants are expected to:
* be considerate, respectful, and collaborative;
* refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior or speech;
* be respectful and mindful of surroundings and of other Participants; other Participants may have a different level of comfort with respect to language and personal space;
* be respectful of any other patrons who may be using event spaces where Forge events are held.
Unacceptable Behavior
The behaviors that are considered harassment and that are unacceptable include, but are not limited to:
* intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct;
* offensive verbal comments including those related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, or religion;
* use of nudity and/or sexually explicit or violent material;
* deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following of other Participants;
* violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against another person or organization;
* non-consensual or inappropriate physical contact;
* unwelcome sexual attention including sexualized comments or jokes; inappropriate touching, groping, or unwelcome sexual advances;
* intentional disruption of Forge events or meetings;
* acts in a manner that does or has the potential to damage or harm Forge or its reputation;
* advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
Weapons Policy
Weapons are prohibited at all lisaarafune.com sponsored events and meetings. Weapons include but are not limited to guns, explosives (including fireworks), and large knives such as those used for hunting, as well as any other item used for the purpose of causing injury or harm to others. Anyone seen in possession of one of these items will be asked to leave immediately, and will only be allowed to return without the weapon, at lisaarafune.com’s discretion.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Harassing or otherwise unacceptable behavior from any Participant will not be tolerated. Anyone asked to cease unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. If a Participant engages in unacceptable behavior, lisaarafune.com may take any action deemed appropriate, up to and including the individual Participant’s temporary ban from the activity or a Participant’s permanent expulsion from lisaarafune.com without warning (and without refund in the case of a paid event).
Reporting Guidelines
If you are subject to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behavior, or have other compliance concerns regarding this Policy, please notify lisaarafune.com as soon as possible. lisaarafune.com will investigate and carry out the appropriate course of action, and will be available to help Participants experiencing unacceptable behavior feel safe for the duration of the meeting or event.

lisaarafune.com prohibits retaliation of any kind against individuals who have made good faith reports or complaints of violations of this Policy or other known or suspected illegal or unethical conduct.
Privacy Expectations
lisaarafune.com respects your privacy. Personal information related to reported violations of this Policy will be shared only to the extent necessary to investigate and take action on claims, or as required by law.
